An easy, fun way to begin speaking some Spanish at your house is to learn commands. These are things we tell people to do. I tell my students, “Now you can boss each other around in Spanish!”
It is fun because everyone in the family can get involved. You don’t have to be studying Spanish to enjoy and get something out of this.
Here are a few examples:
Siéntate = sit down
Levántate = get up
Come = eat
Mira = look
