Grab the Vocab is a great way to review and practice Spanish vocabulary. Just print any of your Spanish for You! vocabulary pictures onto card stock or paper, cut them out, and lay them on a table between two players. Then call out the words in Spanish. The player who grabs the correct picture first gets to keep it. The player with the most pictures at the end wins.
Printing your pictures is easy with Spanish for You! because vocabulary pictures are already formatted into squares so you can print them on sheets of paper or card stock and then cut them out. If you would like to play this game using other vocabulary, like from our free Label Things Around Your House, you can create a table where you can paste clip art pictures in each square and then print onto a sheet of card stock.
This game is a lot of fun and can be done anywhere. If you are traveling this summer, you can take a supply of game cards with you and play anywhere. It is a great way to keep your kids remembering their vocabulary. You can also use the game cards for other games too – like ¿Cuál falta? or Vocabulary Guessing Game.
