Are you looking for something fun to do with your kids over the summer? Why not learn some Spanish together! Don’t set lofty goals or pressure yourself about how much you should learn.
Just do it, have fun, and let it turn out however it turns out. Enjoy! That is what summer is for. Here are some ideas on what you can do using my Spanish for You! resources.
Do a Spanish for You! themed package with your kids.
- For $42.95 you will have enough material to last the whole summer and way beyond!
- You can all do one package together. Choose the theme that interests you – My Life, Conversations, Celebrations, Travels, or Seasons.
- Pick the grade level package for that theme that fits your kids’ ages. For example, let’s say one child is 3rd grade, one is 4th grade, and one is 6th grade, then do a grades 3-4 package together since that one hits the most ages.
- Then, just follow the daily lessons, step by step at your own pace. The lessons literally are a list of items you do all clearly explained, simple, and fun. Lots of variety!
- And, there are many Optional games and activities. These are really fun, easy to do and bring your language learning to life!

Do some Spanish for You! free mini-lessons.
- These give you an opportunity to learn specific topics, such as The Alphabet, Numbers, Colors, etc.
- You can find them here: https://spanish-for-you.com/free-spanish-mini-lessons-kids/
Do Simple Games and Activities
- If your kids are already learning Spanish, you can use some of the games and activities I have listed to practice things over the summer.

Learning Spanish over the summer can be a lot of fun. It certainly can reduce the number of times you hear them say, “I’m bored.”
